Philip Hoser is a novelist, writing in the comic tradition of P G Wodehouse, John Mortimer and Tom Sharpe . He also breeds miniature Belted Galloway cattle.

For many years Philip was a barrister and then a solicitor - years he enjoyed but doesn't miss.

​

He divides his time between England and Australia. He, his wife and their small white dogs, Tilly and Rosie, share their farm with their Mini Belties, a couple of horses that don't get ridden very often and assorted other animals.

He has three wonderful sons, presently living on three different continents.
